Electrical Engineer
Location: Stourbridge
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday – Days - 40 Hour Week
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Pension + Benefits

My client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal process engineering and associated products supplying into a wide variety of industries, such as construction and automotive. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, The Stourbridge site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

The Role
Apprentice trained with relevant certification and qualifications. Minimum; City & Guilds 17th edition Wiring regulations (Level 3 Electrical Installations) trained, Able to perform electrical control circuits and 3 phase power supplies, and fault finding on AC/DC systems. Able to read LADDER diagrams and PLC literate and circuit diagrams. IPAF (Powered Access Federation) MEWPs (mobile elevating work platforms)
Experience in foundry processes and equipment is preferred. Determined, organised and disciplined. As a priority, working safely with tools and equipment with an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement. Working in a busy production plant. The role requires a high level of flexibility (overtime and weekends) and commitment to work. Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work on own initiative is imperative. To ensure everyone is working in a safe environment, to ensure foundry plant and ancillary equipment is always operated efficiently minimising all types of waste. Undertake fault diagnosis and repair in a heavy engineering foundry environment
