Application Pen Tester
Location: Remote
Role Overview
Our organization is seeking an Application Penetration Tester to support a high-volume application security testing environment. The objective of this engagement is to identify, assess, validate, and report security vulnerabilities within applications prior to production deployment. This role is integral to reducing organizational risk and supporting regulatory, audit, and internal security requirements for an estimated 200-340 annual assessments.
Key Responsibilities

• Identify security vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and associated services.
• Validate application security controls and secure coding practices.
• Assess exposure to common attack vectors and exploitation techniques.
• Support release cycles by ensuring security findings are remediated before production deployment.
• Provide remediation guidance and validation testing.
• Maintain compliance with internal Application Security (AppSec) standards and security control audit requirements.
• Support enterprise risk reduction initiatives through continuous penetration testing coverage.
• Conduct retesting and remediation validation activities to verify corrective actions.

Required Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in application penetration testing, including an understanding of applications and how to conduct demos.
Preferred Qualifications

• OSP certification
• OSWE (Offensive Security Web Expert) certification
• OSWA (Offensive Security Web Assessor) certification
• Experience with Pen Tester Lab environments
• Certified Practitioner or Certified Web Exploitation credentials
