Job Description

Location: Mountain View, CA Salary: $80.00 USD Hourly - $100.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a UX Designer (III)

Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer with a passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and impactful learning experiences. This role focuses on designing digital environments that support skill development, knowledge retention, and learner engagement across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learning experience design: Craft user-centered designs for e-learning platforms, training modules, and interactive learning tools.
  • Research & insights: Conduct user research, usability testing, and learner journey mapping to inform design decisions.
  • Information architecture: Organize content into clear, accessible structures that enhance comprehension and navigation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with instructional designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver cohesive learning solutions.
  • Prototyping & testing: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups; iterate based on learner feedback.
  • Accessibility & inclusivity: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and support diverse learner needs.


Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX design, preferably with a focus on learning platforms or educational technology.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design principles, and human-centered design.
  • Experience conducting usability testing and applying insights to improve learner outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Knowledge of gamification strategies and interactive learning design.
  • Ability to translate complex educational content into simple, engaging user experiences.
