Senior Software Engineer - UK Remote Our client is a UK organisation that delivers essential support services to people facing some of life's most difficult circumstances. They're now modernising the software behind these services and need a Senior Software Engineer to help lead that work. What you'll do

• Lead the design, build and delivery of modern web applications
• Build APIs and scalable, cloud-based architecture on Azure
• Improve existing codebases, engineering practices and deployment processes
• Mentor engineers and build a team culture based on collaboration and high standards
• Work in Agile and DevOps ways to deliver reliable, well-tested software
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to design systems that solve real problems

What you'll bring

• Extensive commercial experience with C#, .NET and SQL
• Strong Azure experience, including cloud adoption frameworks
• A proven track record in API development and modern system architecture
• Vast technical leadership background
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing and code reviews
• A calm, practical approach to solving problems under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with diverse teams
• A background in Agile delivery
