Job Description

Data Analytics Consultant (W2 ONLY)

Seeking a Data Program Analyst / Business Analyst to support and coordinate data-related programs and deliverables across business, technical, and Data & Analytics teams. The role will focus on requirements gathering, Agile coordination, data analysis, UAT, stakeholder communication, data governance, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project leadership on project scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues related to Data Program activities.
  • Conduct weekly project meetings and track status, action items, next steps, risks, and dependencies.
  • Represent the Data Program in cross-functional meetings and manage communications with business, technical, and program stakeholders.
  • Work with Data Product Owners on Agile processes, including Program Increments (PI), Sprint planning, prioritization, and tracking.
  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation for data, reporting, and analytics deliverables.
  • Perform data analysis to identify insights and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Support solution design and development activities by coordinating with technical and business teams.
  • Develop and document UAT plans, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and QA-related information.
  • Lead UAT activities and coordinate with SMEs, Data & Analytics teams, and delivery teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop change management and stakeholder communication plans to support adoption of new data and reporting solutions.
  • Participate in solution design sessions with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure data deliverables are properly documented and comply with data governance standards and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading data-related programs/projects, including requirements gathering, planning, and stakeholder management.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Program Increments, and Sprint methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with UAT planning, acceptance criteria, and testing coordination.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with change management and adoption of data/reporting deliverables.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with a Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (D&A CoE) or similar organization.
  • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Background in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Data Program/Project Management.
  • Experience facilitating solution design sessions.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
