This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer – React, TypeScript based in India.

Join an early-stage technology environment developing an advanced AI platform for the legal industry.
The platform combines sophisticated AI reasoning with secure, privacy-focused infrastructure to support professionals handling highly sensitive information.
As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will build and refine the user interfaces that make this technology accessible, intuitive, and reliable.
Working closely with the CTO and cross-functional engineering teams, you will translate an evolving product roadmap into polished frontend experiences.
You will take ownership of features from initial implementation through delivery, while helping shape the platform’s architecture and user experience.
This is an opportunity to influence a growing product where performance, usability, and trust are essential to the end-user experience.

Accountabilities

    As a hands-on member of the engineering team, you will take ownership of frontend development and contribute to the platform’s technical direction. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Building, developing, and delivering user-facing features end to end using React and TypeScript.

    • Translating product requirements and design concepts into responsive, accessible, and polished user interfaces.

    • Collaborating with backend and AI engineers to integrate APIs and real-time data capabilities, including live transcription.

    • Optimizing frontend performance, reliability, usability, and visual consistency, with particular attention to detail.

    • Ensuring the interface meets the security, privacy, and reliability expectations of legal professionals handling privileged information.

    • Contributing to a clean, maintainable frontend codebase and establishing development conventions as the product scales.

    • Working closely with the CTO and other stakeholders to translate product priorities into effective technical solutions.

      • Requirements

      The ideal candidate is an experienced frontend engineer who combines strong React and TypeScript expertise with excellent UI craftsmanship, autonomy, and an interest in AI-powered products. The following qualifications and skills are expected:

      • At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining production web applications with React and TypeScript.

      • Strong CSS and layout skills, with an excellent eye for clean, professional, and consistent user interfaces.

      • Solid understanding of state management, component architecture, frontend testing, and Git workflows.

      • Proven ability to build responsive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences.

      • Comfortable integrating APIs and working alongside backend and AI engineering teams.

      • Active use of AI tools to improve development workflows, increase productivity, and deliver higher-quality software.

      • Strong sense of ownership, self-direction, and ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.

      • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical disciplines.

        • Additional experience that would be advantageous includes:

        • Working on security-sensitive or privacy-focused products, or within regulated industries.

        • An interest in legal technology, AI/LLM products, or software designed for specialized professional users.
