Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vermilion Reporting Specialist with strong expertise in Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS), SQL, reporting, ETL, and investment management. The role will focus on platform configuration, data integration, automated reporting, report development, testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Vermilion Reporting Suite for investment reporting requirements.
  • Develop data interfaces between VRS and external systems.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting workflows and batch processes.
  • Create reports and templates in PDF, MS Office, and HTML formats.
  • Perform testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Work with SQL databases and ETL processes to investigate and resolve data issues.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in enterprise software implementation, preferably within financial services or asset management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Vermilion Reporting Suite.
  • Strong SQL experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • Experience with ETL processes and database debugging.
  • Knowledge of Vermilion modules, APIs, and report design.
  • Understanding of investment performance, portfolio data, and client reporting.
  • Experience across asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
