Public Application Engineer – o9 Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer – o9 to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications supporting supply chain planning, procurement, and automation initiatives. This role will drive the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while enabling key business capabilities across O9 planning, demand management, and procurement workflows. Key Responsibilities • Own product architecture and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver solutions that optimize business outcomes. • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise applications. • Develop microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL services to support enterprise integrations. • Produce reliable, high-performance code with monitoring and alerting capabilities. • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices. • Improve system performance, scalability, stability, and operational efficiency. • Lead delivery of strategic initiatives including: o Onboarding Edge/IP capabilities onto O9. o Building consumption data pipelines for INE, Optical, and Subsea demandrelief programs. o Enhancing Demand Hub capabilities. o Developing proactive and reactive PO Creation Simulation Agents. o Automating end-to-end Consignment and Drop Ship procurement workflows with ODMs. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Public • 5+ years of software development experience using Java, PHP, C++, JavaScript, ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar technologies. • 5+ years of experience building microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL-based solutions. • Experience with O9 Solutions • Strong MySQL and database design experience. • Experience designing enterprise integrations and transactional workflows. • Experience with procurement, supply chain, or workflow automation initiatives. • Professional fluency in English. Preferred Qualifications • 5+ years of experience modeling data flows and system integrations. • Experience with supply chain planning, procurement, demand management, or intelligent automation solutions. • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and observability practices. Success Measures • Successful delivery of O9 onboarding and demand planning initiatives. • Increased automation of procurement and supply chain workflows. • Improved system scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. • Reduction of manual effort through intelligent automation and process optimization.
