Senior Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join a growing logistics technology company based in Charlotte, NC (remote-friendly with Eastern Time hours preferred). This is a full-time opportunity focused on building and supporting enterprise integrations, APIs, cloud applications, and data workflows that power critical supply chain operations. You'll work with technologies such as Python, Azure Functions, REST APIs, SQL, Databricks, Spark, and event-driven systems to deliver scalable, business-critical solutions.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on developer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering solutions independently. The architecture is already in place, and the team is looking for someone who can take a requirement, work through the logic, and build a production-ready integration without needing daily direction. The ideal candidate has personally built APIs, integrations, cloud services, or data transformation workflows and enjoys solving real-world business problems.

Python, Azure, EDI, and logistics experience are nice-to-haves, but strong development fundamentals and a self-starter mentality are the biggest priorities.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of software development experience (7+ preferred)
Experience building and maintaining production integrations
Strong API development and integration experience
Data mapping, transformation, and validation experience
Experience developing cloud-based applications or services
Strong SQL and database skills
Experience working with distributed systems and asynchronous processing
Ability to independently gather requirements and deliver solutions
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
