Cloud Operations Engineer Private Equity - London | Contract

A leading Private Equity firm is looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to support and enhance their Azure environment, with a strong focus on cloud operations, automation, security and resilience.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration and monitoring of Azure infrastructure, while also driving patching and vulnerability remediation, infrastructure automation and improvements across the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment.

Requirements:

Strong hands-on Azure administration experience across compute, networking, storage and IAM

Strong PowerShell scripting skills, with Terraform or Bicep experience desirable

Experience with patch and vulnerability management across Azure-hosted workloads

Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and alerting

Understanding of network security concepts including NSGs, segmentation and private endpoints

Hands-on Entra ID and Conditional Access experience

Experience supporting and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments

Security-first mindset with an understanding of change management and operational processes

Experience with cloud security tooling such as Wiz or GitHub Advanced Security is beneficial

Private Equity or other regulated environment experience is a plus
