The Role

• Conduct professional assessments of individual patient needs, including early detection of life-threatening conditions and initiation of life-saving measures.
• Independently develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on nursing science principles.
• Manage interdisciplinary communication effectively, executing medical orders and relaying critical observations to the multidisciplinary team promptly.
• Actively participate in the preparation and execution of diagnostic and therapeutic measures with precision, responsibility, and a patient-centered approach.
• Meticulously document interventions and outcomes, adapting care plans as patient needs change.
• Ensure patient safety, particularly for minors and patients at risk of self-harm or harm to others, while also guiding trainees and supporting clinical studies.

What You'll Need

• Successful completion of vocational training as a Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification.
• A specialization in Psychiatry is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in outpatient or inpatient care for psychiatric patients.
• High level of social competence, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• For international applicants, at least B2 level German proficiency and recognition of foreign professional qualifications.
