Sr QA Engineer Android

Key Responsibilities
Lead quality assurance efforts for Android-based retail technology solutions
Perform comprehensive manual testing of Android mobile applications across multiple devices and configurations
Validate functionality, usability, performance, and reliability of Android applications
Execute test plans and test cases covering mobile applications, embedded systems, firmware, and hardware integrations
Utilize Android Debug Bridge (ADB) for troubleshooting, diagnostics, logging, and device validation
Conduct device-level testing and identify issues impacting application functionality and performance
Validate integrations between Android applications, embedded hardware, and firmware components
Perform security, loss prevention, and reliability testing across platform components
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution
Conduct root cause analysis and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
Serve as the primary QA owner for assigned product initiatives and releases
Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product demonstrations, and customer validation activities as needed
Work closely with globally distributed engineering teams, including AI and Computer Vision teams
Contribute to process improvements, quality standards, and future test automation initiatives
Develop testing documentation, defect reports, test execution results, and quality metrics
Provide risk assessments and release readiness recommendations to project stakeholders
Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and testing methodologies

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
ISTQB Certified Tester
Android Application Testing certifications
Mobile Testing or QA Automation certifications
