Job Description

Role Summary
A senior-level development engineering position focused on leading complex software projects, shaping technical architecture, and mentoring engineering teams. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on coding expertise and a deep understanding of modern data-driven environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving technical initiatives aligned with business goals, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance system delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture design and implementation of high-complexity software solutions.
  • Establish engineering standards, review code, and mentor team members to foster best practices.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering teams to define feature requirements and delivery plans.
  • Build scalable applications leveraging modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, C++, JavaScript/React, and SQL.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing, and maintain existing codebases for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
  • Create and update technical documentation to support development and maintenance activities.
  • Research emerging technologies, evaluate their integration potential, and recommend process improvements.
  • Contribute to project planning, timelines, and resource estimations to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols, compliance standards, and data protection regulations.
  • Translate complex business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Refine software development practices and engineering workflows through continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, enterprise systems, or operations technology, including demand planning, inventory management, or production scheduling.
  • Proven experience with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology, code repositories, workshops, and pipelines, or equivalent data-driven application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, C++, JavaScript/React, and SQL for data transformation, application logic, front-end development, and large-scale data modeling.
  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Solid data engineering skills and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Experience with DevOps processes, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to maintain system health and performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor teams, lead change initiatives, and align technological efforts with strategic business objectives.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Publishing Pay Range: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually 

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
