OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Salary: £13.85 per hour
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract. Contract End Date: 30/11/2027
Job Type: Part time
Contracted hours: 20 hours per week
Working pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – The days will be Sunday 8am-12pm Monday 8am-12pm Thursday 8am-12pm and Friday 8am-12pm and Saturday 8am-12pm with 1 in 4 weekends off with availability required on a Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-12pm.

What you’ll do

If you love working with people – this is the place for you. This is what you can expect to be responsible for, day-to-day.

• You’ll support the Environmental Health & Safety Lead in store and be the main point of contact to help maintain a safe working environment.
• You’ll support the management team with proactively mitigating hazards, conducting training programmes and driving operational excellence in line with ‘The Way We Work’ manual.
• Print off POS tickets to support Primark’s pricing policy.
• Manage lost property; check first aid kits; order PPE, stationary and sales floor equipment for the store.

What you’ll bring

• Ideally some previous experience working Administrator.
• Working knowledge of local employment legislation and best practice.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to be flexible and prioritise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective and persuasive communication style.
• Good problem-solving skills, with an interest in developing a career – we’re all about learning here!
• A passion to do a good job.
