PAT Home Visitor

18 Degrees, a digital product and engineering studio in Northampton, MA, is hiring a PAT Home Visitor to design, build, and maintain custom web and mobile applications. In this role, you'll work within a tight-knit, senior engineering team to translate client and product requirements into thoughtful, scalable solutions. You'll collaborate closely with designers and stakeholders, contribute to architecture and technical decisions, and ship high-quality, well-tested code. This position offers meaningful ownership, exposure to modern web technologies, and continuous learning in a collaborative, experimentation-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with designers and product partners to refine requirements and user experience
• Implement clean, well-tested, and maintainable code using modern engineering practices
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
• Work closely with clients to understand needs and iterate on product features
• Monitor, debug, and improve application performance and reliability
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team tools, processes, and standards
• Document systems, APIs, and implementation details for long-term maintainability
