Job Description

Job Title: Workday Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Time & Absence, and/or Payroll. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Workday configuration, business process optimization, reporting, security, data management, and system support.

Candidates with strong expertise in either Time & Absence or Payroll, along with a foundational understanding of Core HCM, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll modules.

  • Support business process configuration, including Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination.

  • Manage Workday reporting, calculated fields, dashboards, and security configurations.

  • Perform data migration, data validation, and data loading using EIBs.

  • Configure time-off plans, leave policies, accruals, employee work schedules, and payroll components.

  • Support payroll processing, including calculations, settlements, and third-party payroll integrations.

  • Troubleshoot Workday issues and recommend solutions to improve system performance and business processes.

  • Participate in Workday releases, system enhancements, and tenant management activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Absence, and IT.

  • Provide functional support and guidance to end users and support teams.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and implementation.

  • Knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Time & Absence, and/or Payroll.

  • Experience with Workday business processes, reporting, calculated fields, and security.

  • Knowledge of EIBs, data migration, and integrations.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification in relevant modules.

  • Experience with Workday releases, tenant management, and system enhancements.

  • Experience with complex Absence, Time Tracking, or Payroll configurations.

Note: Candidates with expert-level experience in Time & Absence or Payroll and moderate Core HCM configuration experience will also be considered.
