Technical Implementation Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant in Columbia, SC.

Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Implementation Consultant to own client technology projects from implementation through completion. This is a hybrid technical and project-focused role requiring someone who can independently execute technical work while managing client expectations, timelines, upgrades, and overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical client projects end to end, from planning through execution and completion
• Serve as a primary client-facing technical resource
• Perform hands-on implementation, configuration, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting
• Implement and support Microsoft-based solutions, particularly Azure and Intune
• Assist with the implementation of AI solutions for municipal clients
• Manage project expectations, communicate progress, and keep implementations moving forward

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Azure
• Comfortable working with AI technologies such as Claude from an implementation perspective, rather than developing AI models
• Self-sufficient, technically capable, client-facing, and comfortable taking ownership of an entire project
• Technical certifications are a plus
• Previous MSP experience is a major plus
• Microsoft Intune experience is highly desired
• Experience with ConnectWise is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
