The Role • Provide mechanical engineering support across diverse platform systems, critical marine services, and associated equipment. • Deliver engineering input to multiple projects, including naval programmes for both domestic and international clients. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and manage platform system requirements. • Maintain the design integrity of systems across various engineering contexts, classes, and programme deployments. • Support investigations, impact assessments, and integration analyses to facilitate informed technical decisions. • Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of design changes while upholding configuration control and system integration. What You'll Need • Broad knowledge of complex platform systems relevant to UK and international markets. • Understanding of applicable industry standards and experience within governance and assurance frameworks. • Ability to quickly and confidently apply mechanical engineering knowledge to a wide range of platform systems, sub-systems, and equipment. • Formal mechanical engineering qualifications.
