We are partnering with a leading educational support organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our mission is to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners, offering flexible and trauma-informed support within local communities.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Plan lessons, report on activities, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with learners experiencing a range of needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Be part of an organization committed to reimagining support for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
