Senior Project Manager - London - Cut & Carve

Up to £125,000 basic salary + Competitive benefits package

Client: Leading Fit Out & Refurbishment Contractor

Our client is an established leading main contractor specialising in high-quality construction projects across London and the wider UK.

The business has an excellent reputation for delivering complex schemes, including CAT A & CAT B fit out, cut & carve, structural refurbishment, building repositioning and retrofit.

Project - £35M commercial cut & carve

Major M&E upgrades, façade and window works, CAT A fit-out, reception and common-area refurbishment, and full coordination of specialist subcontract packages through to completion and handover.

Roles & Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager:

  • Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the £35M commercial cut & carve project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
  • Lead and manage the project team, providing clear direction across programme, commercial, design, quality and delivery.
  • Develop and manage the overall project programme, ensuring key milestones and critical path activities are achieved.
  • Coordinate and manage consultants, subcontractors and specialist packages, ensuring effective design and construction integration.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to monitor project financial performance, procurement, valuations, variations, costs and commercial risk.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and key stakeholders, acting as a senior point of contact throughout the project.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, resolving issues and driving solutions to maintain programme and delivery objectives.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health & safety, quality and compliance are maintained across the project.
  • Lead project meetings, provide regular progress reporting and ensure clear communication across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive the project through to successful completion, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
