We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Data Engineer (AWS, Spark and SQL) for one of our esteemed clients.

Role: Data Engineer (AWS, Spark and SQL)

Location: Onsite – Denver CO

Duration : Long term
 

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark and PySpark or Scala.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, and query optimization.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of distributed data processing and big-data concepts.
• Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, and Athena.
• Experience with Python, preferably PySpark.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing large-scale data processing jobs.
• Experience with Git or other source-control tools.
