Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, Agile methodologies, and delivering enterprise technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and project managers.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support UAT, test planning, defect analysis, and business validation.
• Create process maps, workflows, data flows, and requirement traceability documents.
• Analyze data using SQL and Excel to support business decisions and validate requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are delivered as expected.
• Prepare presentations, status reports, and documentation for senior stakeholders.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process optimization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, and Visio/Lucidchart.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process workflows.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with UAT, functional testing, and defect management.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, data mapping, and system integrations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, or Retail.
• Experience working with enterprise applications and cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of API integrations, data migration, and reporting/analytics.
• Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams
