Job Description

Cura of Willmar is hiring a Full-Time Evening CNA!

Cura of Willmar is a 78-bed skilled nursing community providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Our CNAs are an important part of our nursing team and have the opportunity to build real relationships with the residents they care for.

Whether you're an experienced CNA or recently became certified, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As an Evening CNA, you'll work alongside our nurses and other CNAs to provide hands-on care and help residents have a safe, comfortable evening.

Your shift may include:

  • Assisting residents with dressing, toileting, grooming, bathing, and other daily care
  • Helping residents with transfers, mobility, repositioning, and ambulation
  • Assisting residents with supper and evening routines
  • Answering call lights and responding to resident needs
  • Taking and documenting vital signs and other required information
  • Observing residents for changes and promptly communicating concerns to the nurse
  • Helping residents get comfortable and ready for bed
  • Providing companionship, encouragement, and reassurance
  • Working together with nurses and other CNAs to provide quality resident care
  • Following infection prevention, safety, and resident-rights requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification
  • Dependable and reliable attendance

  • Ability to prioritize and respond to resident needs
  • Willingness to help coworkers and be part of a team

New CNAs are encouraged to apply! Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is helpful, but it is not required.
