Tax Preparer - Remote (GEN110011)

High-producing tax preparer wanted for year-round remote work for several of our CPA and tax services firms. Flexible hours. Work from Home.

Fully remote role has you preparing individual and business tax returns, handling off-season projects like tax projections, notice resolution, and communicating directly with clients.  If interested chance to learn review work with advancement opportunity.

• Prepare individual and business tax returns. 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S (preparation of 990, 1041, 706 and 709 returns nice to have)
• Some preparation of more complex tax returns to include multi-state, flow through entities, multi-tiered partnerships and consolidated corporations.
• Assist with off season projects such as tax projections, reasonable compensation studies, tax notice resolution.
• Conduct tax research as needed
• Handle client communications through portal messaging, phone calls, and video meetings

• 3-5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work well with clients and team members
• Past experience working in a fully remote workspace
• Comfortable working directly with clients, explaining complex tax issues in easy-to-understand terms 
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Technically strong
• Enjoys working in a technology-friendly environment
• Must have CPA firm experience
