Scrum Master - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX.

This role will establish and reinforce Agile delivery practices across the team, ensuring consistent execution of Scrum ceremonies, removal of delivery impediments, and alignment to delivery commitments. The Scrum Master will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering, and stakeholders to promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum framework, driving adoption of best practices
• Identify and remove impediments and blockers to maintain consistent delivery velocity
• Manage sprint execution and backlog readiness in partnership with Product Owners
• Track and report on Agile metrics like velocity, burn-down/up charts, and cycle time
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and ensure alignment
• Support end-to-end delivery coordination from planning through release

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role
• Proven ability to facilitate productive and outcome-driven Scrum ceremonies
• Experience coaching teams on Agile principles and the Scrum framework
• Strong track record of identifying and removing impediments and blockers
• Hands-on experience with sprint execution and backlog management
• Ability to track and report on Agile metrics
• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA)
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)

Desired skills:

• Experience working in a financial services or regulated industry
• Strong understanding of scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum of Scrums)
• Experience with dependency management and portfolio-level coordination
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience driving Agile maturity transformations
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
