Job Description

Senior Product Manager - Colleague Communications Technology

Initially 6-Month Contract
London (2 days per week in the office, though likely to be predominantly remote)

We are working with a leading UK retailer seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to define and deliver the future vision for a strategic Colleague Communications Technology Platform.

This role will focus on shaping the technology, tooling, and capabilities that enable effective communication across a large enterprise workforce. You will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, helping move the business away from fragmented solutions towards a scalable, self-service platform aligned with an AI-enabled Modern Workplace strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Colleague Communications Technology platform.
  • Drive the transformation of a fragmented communications technology landscape into a cohesive strategic platform.
  • Partner with Internal Communications and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
  • Deliver self-service capabilities that enable communication teams to plan, publish, target, distribute, and measure communications effectively.
  • Shape how communications are delivered through future AI-led workplace experiences.
  • Establish clear ownership, governance, support models, and lifecycle management across the existing technology estate.
  • Prioritise business needs while balancing operational requirements and long-term strategic goals.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager with ownership of a technology platform.
  • Retail experience is essential.
  • Strong background in Digital Workplace, Employee Experience, Internal Communications, Collaboration Platforms, or Workplace Technology.
  • Demonstrable experience defining and delivering product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Experience leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of how AI can enhance workplace communications and employee experience.
