Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Design Lead to drive hands-on UX design and design strategy for complex enterprise platforms. This role will focus on improving dashboards, usability, visual consistency, and overall user experience across enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong Figma skills, a portfolio showcasing recent and high-quality design work, and experience using AI tools to improve design workflows. The Product Design Lead will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to develop intuitive, clean, and consistent user experiences.
Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple projects in a sprint-based environment, presenting design decisions, and explaining their design thinking to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• UX Strategy and Execution: Develop concepts, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI designs, and design specifications.
• Visual Design and Consistency: Create and maintain design standards, ensuring clean, intuitive, and consistent user experiences across enterprise platforms.
• User Research and Testing: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and design evaluations to identify usability issues and implement improvements.
• AI-Assisted Design: Use AI tools to support and improve design workflows, ideation, prototyping, and overall design efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize design solutions, and communicate design rationale.
• Dashboard and Platform Optimization: Improve dashboard usability, information presentation, navigation, and consistency across complex applications.
• Project and Sprint Management: Manage multiple design engagements simultaneously and deliver quality work within sprint timelines.
• Design Leadership and Mentorship: Provide design feedback, mentor junior designers, and contribute to team processes and UX best practices.
• Portfolio Presentation: Communicate design decisions, problem-solving approaches, and measurable outcomes through relevant case studies.
Must-Have Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience in UX/UI design and product design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, interaction designs, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a sprint-based environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain design decisions and participate in case study discussions.
• A portfolio demonstrating recent, high-quality design work and relevant case studies.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work onsite four days per week in New York, NY, or Pittsburgh, PA. Lake Mary, FL candidates may be considered as a last option.
Preferred Qualifications
• AI Design Tools: Experience using AI tools in design workflows, such as Windsurf or similar AI-assisted development and design tools.
• 10+ Years of Experience: Extensive professional experience in UX/UI, product design, or a related design discipline. Ten years is preferred but not mandatory.
• Agency Experience: Experience working in a design agency or consulting environment is highly preferred.
• Enterprise Platform Experience: Experience designing enterprise, B2B, internal business, dashboard-driven, or consumer-facing applications.
• Design Leadership: Experience mentoring junior designers, providing design reviews, and helping establish design standards and team practices.
• User Research Expertise: Strong ability to interpret research findings and convert them into practical design solutions.
• AI-Driven Design Process: Demonstrated use of AI to improve ideation, design execution, prototyping, or productivity.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in UX Design, Product Design, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
• Advanced Degree: A master's degree or other advanced degree is a plus.
Portfolio Requirements
Candidates must provide a portfolio showcasing recent and relevant design work.
The hiring team will evaluate:

• Clean, simple, and intuitive design choices.
• Design thinking, problem-solving, and rationale behind design decisions.
• Image selection, clarity, cropping, and scaling.
• Effective use of Figma and AI tools in the design process.
• Relevant case studies demonstrating the candidate's contribution and outcomes.
