- Proven experience in data cabling installation, with strong fibre installation skills.
- Practical knowledge of single-mode, multi-mode and blown fibre systems.
- Experience installing, terminating and testing structured copper cabling.
- Experience with cable containment and interpreting site drawings.
- A professional, reliable and quality-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently when required and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when projects require it.
- An interest in technology and a willingness to develop your skills further.
What they offer
They recognise the importance of their engineers and aim to provide opportunities to develop skills, gain experience and progress professionally.
Their benefits include:
- Competitive salary dependent on experience.
- Annual bonus.
- 28 days annual leave.
- Ongoing training and development, including courses such as IPAF, Confined Spaces, ECS and other relevant qualifications.
- Pension scheme.
- Sick pay.
- Company events.
- Provision of a company van.
Travel and working arrangements
You'll need to be comfortable working on different sites and adapting to the requirements of each project. Working away from home may occasionally be necessary, although overnight stays are kept to a minimum where possible. This will include travel expenses, overnight accommodation and any applicable travel allowances.
