Developer Salesforce (IT)
Location: Chicago, Illinois (On-site)
Role Overview
This organization is seeking a Salesforce Developer to implement Salesforce solutions in collaboration with solution architects and business analysts. The successful candidate will write custom Apex code, perform configuration changes, manage custom integrations, create reports, and handle support issues. This individual will work with technical and functional teams to solicit needs, determine feasibility, and implement configuration changes.
Key Responsibilities

• Transform business requirements into functional Salesforce solutions as a developer.
• Administer and support the Salesforce CRM system daily, managing user setup, roles, security, and customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.
• Develop triggers, custom objects, workflows, Visualforce pages, and other solutions using Apex code.
• Create and maintain customized reports and dashboards within the Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with technical leads, solution architects, and other development staff to deliver Salesforce projects.
• Prioritize and balance multiple projects concurrently while serving as a Salesforce technical resource.
• Document technical solutions and perform unit and system testing of code, components, and integrations.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant, proven work experience.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience developing Apex triggers and classes, web services, and Visualforce pages. At least three years of experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using service-oriented architecture and enterprise service bus technologies.
Technical Skills: Proven experience in data architecture, data migration, and implementing advanced formulas and workflow rules. Three or more years of web services experience using Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, and WSDL. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, as well as Salesforce version control, continuous integration, build automation, and metadata comparison tools.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple SFDC implementations and Salesforce Lightning development.
• Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic and over five years of experience with advanced structured programming.
• Experience with defect-management and testing-automation tools such as HP ALM or LoadRunner.
• Broad understanding of the SFDC ecosystem, technical architectures, and financial or banking industry backgrounds.
• Preferred Salesforce certifications: ADM201, ADM211, DEV401, DEV450, DEV502, or DEV601.
