Caregiver Recruiter

As a Location Recruiter for caregiving roles at Addus, you will source, screen, and hire compassionate caregivers supporting in-home care for seniors and individuals with chronic conditions. Partnering with local leaders, you'll manage the full recruitment cycle: posting jobs, attending job fairs, conducting interviews, coordinating background checks, and ensuring compliance with healthcare and state regulations. You will build talent pipelines, track metrics, and support onboarding so new caregivers are ready to deliver safe, high-quality, mission-driven care aligned with Addus' values of compassion, respect, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract caregiving candidates through job boards, referrals, events, and community outreach
• Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screenings, interviews, and offers
• Coordinate background checks, credential verification, and compliance documentation
• Partner with branch and clinical leaders to forecast staffing needs and hiring priorities
• Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
• Organize and participate in job fairs and hiring events
• Support smooth onboarding and orientation for new caregivers
• Promote Addus mission, culture, and value proposition to candidates
• Ensure adherence to healthcare, state, and company hiring regulations
• Build and maintain caregiver talent pipelines for high-demand roles
