Business Data Analyst

Strategic Technology & Business Engagement Consultant

We are looking for an experienced, customer-facing technology professional who can work across business, data, analytics, AI, and technical teams to support strategic programs and executive-level engagement.

This role sits between business stakeholders and technology teams. The individual will work closely with program leads, BI/data leaders, project managers, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to understand priorities, consolidate information across multiple initiatives, and communicate business outcomes clearly to leadership.

This is not a traditional hands-on development or single-project delivery role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology and data, combined with excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and program coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, technology leads, program managers, and leadership across multiple initiatives.
• Understand business priorities and translate them into clear technology and program-level recommendations.
• Support leadership with executive presentations, portfolio reviews, operational reviews, and strategic updates.
• Gather and consolidate metrics, project outcomes, risks, accomplishments, and roadmap information from multiple teams.
• Present complex technical and program information in a concise, business-focused manner.
• Help communicate portfolio health, revenue impact, operational metrics, business outcomes, and strategic priorities.
• Work across different service lines and projects rather than being dedicated to a single initiative.
• Identify risks, dependencies, priorities, and opportunities across programs.
• Help technical and business teams remain aligned on expectations, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Support adoption of modern technologies, including AI/GenAI, data analytics, BI, and enterprise technology solutions.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, business engagement, program management, solution consulting, data/analytics, or related roles.
• Strong experience working directly with senior business stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience preparing or presenting executive-level updates, portfolio reviews, operational reviews, or business presentations.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear business outcomes.
• Good understanding of enterprise technology, data, analytics, BI, cloud, and/or AI technologies.
• Experience working across multiple teams, programs, or business functions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand business priorities such as revenue growth, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Preferred

• Experience supporting data, analytics, BI, AI, or digital transformation programs.
• Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, or AI-enabled business solutions.
• Experience working with VP, Chief of Staff, RBP, or other senior leadership stakeholders.
• Consulting or large-enterprise experience.
• Experience creating executive dashboards, QBRs, operational reviews, or portfolio-level reporting.
