Job Description

Office-based during probation, then flexible. 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch break). Based in Birmingham, West Midlands.

Technical Event Project Manager roles with real project ownership and structured earning progression don't come up often in the West Midlands.

This one is with a growing corporate events supplier that backs its people and promotes from within.

- Salary progression across £40,000 to £50,000 as you grow into the role

- Profit-share bonus scheme on top of your base

- Company car or car allowance after probation

- 33 days holiday plus private medical cover

- Genuine promotion track record within an expanding team

The Company

A well-established technical events supplier, corporate-focused and delivering conferences, dinners and high-profile events across the UK and internationally. The business has recently moved into larger premises to match its growth, and is building its Technical Event Project Manager capability accordingly. The culture is collaborative, the team is experienced, and people tend to stay once they join.

The Role

As Technical Event Project Manager, you will own the full lifecycle of AV delivery and corporate events, from client brief through to close-out.

- Lead end-to-end project management for corporate events and conferences

- Write client proposals and quotations, owning the commercial outcome

- Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact

- Coordinate internal teams, crew and suppliers for every show

- Work hands-on at live events from load-in to load-out

The Candidate

The right person for this Technical Event Project Manager role brings solid project management experience in live technical events, with the confidence to own client relationships and commercial proposals from day one.

- Project management experience across corporate events or AV supply

- Proven end-to-end event delivery from concept to technical completion

- Strong client-facing skills across a full project lifecycle

- Experience writing proposals or quotations for technical events

- Practical understanding of AV delivery and the events supply chain

International events, hire systems or virtual and hybrid delivery experience are all beneficial but not essential. Adjacent backgrounds in technical production or AV supply are equally welcome. What matters most is a methodical approach, genuine passion for technical events, and the drive to take real ownership.

In return, you get structured progression, profit share, a company car or allowance, and 33 days holiday with private medical cover, a package that reflects what a Technical Event Project Manager at this level should expect. Interviews are being booked now, so submit your application and we will be in touch.
