Electronic Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join the team of our exceptional client. This role focuses on the design, development, testing, and support of advanced electronic hardware systems, from concept through production.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on electrical engineer with experience designing analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, supporting existing products, customizing solutions for new applications, and contributing to innovative new product development initiatives.

What will your day look like?

As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and validate analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic systems

• Translate product requirements into reliable and manufacturable hardware solutions

• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting documentation

• Design low-power and battery-powered electronic systems

• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation activities

• Develop and maintain PCB assemblies from concept through production release

• Integrate sensors, embedded systems, and communication interfaces into complex designs

• Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams

• Troubleshoot electrical, power, signal integrity, and reliability issues

• Participate in design reviews and technical decision-making discussions

• Support manufacturing ramp-up, production sustainment, and product enhancements

• Evaluate and implement improvements in performance, reliability, manufacturability, and testability

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and test procedures

• Support prototype development, field testing, and product verification activities

You will be a good fit for this role if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• 5+ years of experience designing and supporting electronic hardware products

• Strong expertise in:

• Analog Circuit Design
• Digital Circuit Design
• Mixed-Signal Electronics
• Low-Power System Design

• Experience designing and owning PCBAs from concept through production

• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, preferably Altium Designer

• Experience with:

• Power Regulation and Distribution
• Battery Management Systems
• Sensor Integration
• Signal Integrity
• EMI/EMC Design Principles

• Experience working with microcontroller-based systems

• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as:

• RS-232
• RS-485
• I²C
• CAN

• Experience performing hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation testing

• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) methodologies

• Experience supporting manufacturing and production environments

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with FPGA or CPLD development

• Familiarity with VHDL or Verilog

• Experience with:

• Motor Control Systems
• Feedback Interfaces
• Embedded Systems Development

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as:

• TCP/IP
• Ethernet/IP
• Modbus

• Experience supporting PLC interfaces and industrial control systems

• RF design experience, including:

• Wireless Communications
• Antenna Design
• Bluetooth
• Wi-Fi

• Experience working with digital signal processing (DSP)

• Familiarity with embedded inspection, automation, or instrumentation systems

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and participating in technical leadership activities

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
