Experience:

·       5+ years of experience with SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted\

Must-Have Skills

·       SolarWinds Observability (Self-Hosted) / Orion Platform

·       SolarWinds Modules: NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM

·       Windows Administration

·       MS SQL Database

·       Networking & Telemetry Protocols: SNMP, WMI, WinRM, Syslog, NetFlow/sFlow

·       AIOps fundamentals

·       Monitoring, alerting, dashboard creation, and troubleshooting

·       Client-facing experience

Nice-to-Have Skills

·       OpenText NNMi

·       Splunk or other enterprise monitoring tools

·       PowerShell or Python scripting

·       REST API integrations

·       Linux Administration

·       AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform monitoring

·       SQL fundamentals

·       ITSM integration (ServiceNow, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

·       Administer and maintain the SolarWinds platform (NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM).

·       Perform upgrades, health checks, and platform maintenance.

·       Configure device discovery, polling engines, alerts, dashboards, and reports.

·       Monitor network and server infrastructure using SNMP, WMI, WinRM, Syslog, and NetFlow.

·       Integrate SolarWinds with ITSM tools and REST APIs.

·       Troubleshoot platform, database, and monitoring issues.

·       Support AIOps initiatives and hybrid/cloud monitoring.

·       Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and performance.
