Our client is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead a major Customer Management System modernization, coordinating across multiple product teams and stakeholders to replace legacy platforms and guide implementation efforts, including work associated with NetSuite. The role requires leadership across Agile/Scrum delivery, strong cross-functional coordination, and the ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and outcomes.

Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level product ownership for a large-scale Customer Management System modernization initiative.
• Lead transition from a legacy platform in place since 2002 and support functionality moving to NetSuite.
• Establish priorities, coordinate dependencies, and ensure initiatives progress across multiple products.
• Coordinate activities across five or more product teams and partner with Product Owners, technology, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, build consensus, and resolve competing priorities.
• Identify roadblocks, facilitate difficult conversations, and maintain momentum.
• Guide implementation from planning through execution, supporting retirement and replacement of the existing system.
• Align teams to product objectives and business goals, surface issues early, and drive decisions and follow-through.
• Operate within Agile/Scrum with two-week sprints, supporting planning, prioritization, backlog management, and execution.
• Ensure requirements and priorities are understood by delivery teams and manage broader dependencies.
• Incorporate AI tools into workflows for requirements, analysis, research, documentation, communication, and productivity.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant Product Owner experience in senior or lead-level environments.
• Proven leadership of complex technology implementations or modernization initiatives.
• Experience working across multiple products or delivery teams simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to build consensus, navigate ambiguity, lead difficult conversations, resolve roadblocks, influence, coordinate multiple priorities, and create structure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum and with JIRA.
• Hands-on professional experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar, with specific examples of applied use.
• Strongly preferred: Salesforce and Marketo experience.
• Preferred: Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and related enterprise platforms; experience across interconnected business and technology applications; enterprise-scale implementations; legacy application modernization or system retirement; experience working in complex organizations with many product teams and stakeholders.
