  • Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, APIs, databases, storage, DNS, and enterprise infrastructure environments.

  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, Git, and version control practices.

  • Understanding of security principles, identity and access management, secrets management, compliance requirements, and platform security controls.

  • Well developed analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, build productive stakeholder relationships, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Advantageous:

  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar automation and deployment platforms.

  • Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or equivalent technologies.

  • Knowledge of cloud security, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cost optimisation, capacity planning, and resilience practices.
