Senior Engineer - IT Supply Chain Systems.

Location: Savannah, GA Salary: $125,000.00 USD Annually - $135,000.00 USD Annually Description:
Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior On-Site Engineer to support supply chain and warehouse control systems. This role is hands-on, systems-focused, and embedded directly within distribution center operations.

This will be onsite 4 days a month to Savannah, GA

Although the role is software-oriented, success requires deep engagement with physical systems, including:

• Conveyors
• Controllers
• High-voltage equipment

On-site presence is essential to:

• Troubleshoot issues in real time
• Bridge operational and IT knowledge gaps
• Provide rapid response and clear accountability

Operational expectations:

• Understand warehouse flow, supply chain concepts, and operational terminology
• Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and interacting with hardware

Technical Requirements:

Core Skills (Required):

• Strong networking fundamentals
• TCP/IP
• Windows Server
• Experience with one or more programming or systems technologies:
• Java
• .NET
• Firmware management experience

Preferred (not required) Experience:

• SCADA systems
• Unit sorter systems (major plus)
• WinSoft (similar to Daifuku)
• Damatics DIQ / Sort Director
