Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst in Minneapolis, MN
Role Description
Supply Chain Business Analyst to support the Indirect Spend (MRO) space. This role plays a critical part in optimizing supply chain performance through advanced data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and engagement with third-party vendors and partners.
The ideal candidate will leverage enterprise systems (SAP, SAMS/MAXIMO, PeopleSoft) and modern analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Snowflake) to generate actionable insights that improve inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and drive operational efficiency. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Analyze MRO stockroom and indirect spend data across enterprise platforms including SAP, SAMS/MAXIMO, and PeopleSoft Extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets using Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, and other analytics tools Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support supply chain and procurement decision-making Partner with internal teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, Maintenance, Operations) to align insights with business objectives Collaborate and communicate effectively with third-party vendors and service providers to address data discrepancies, performance issues, and continuous improvement initiatives Support system data integrity efforts, audits, and inventory reconciliation processes Deliver recurring and ad hoc analysis to stakeholders

Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, MRO stockroom, or
2+ indirect spend analysis years of experience working with enterprise
2+ systems such as SAP, MAXIMO (SAMS), or PeopleSoft
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis) Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work with internal teams and external vendors/partners
Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms Knowledge of MRO inventory and indirect procurement processes Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business insights Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
