Job Description

We are looking for an R&D Senior Engineer – MV Reclosers with 8+ years of experience in the electrical power equipment industry, preferably with expertise in Medium Voltage Reclosers or overhead MV distribution products. The candidate should have strong MV electrical product design knowledge and experience with industry standards and certification requirements.

Education & Experience

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.

·         Minimum 8 years of experience in the electrical power equipment industry.

·         Experience with MV Reclosers or overhead MV distribution products preferred.

Qualifications for the role:

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).

·         Minimum 8 years of experience in the electrical power equipment industry required, preferably in the field of MV Reclosers or overhead MV Distribution products.

·         Proficiency in electrical equipment design in one or more of the following products: Reclosers, Breakers, Outdoor Overhead Distribution products, circuit breakers, contactors, and switches, etc.

·         Working knowledge of simulation software (Dielectric, thermal, structural) desired.

·         Knowledge of relevant industry standards. (ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, and UL.)

·         Proficiency in MV electrical product design, preferably Medium Voltage products preferred.
