The Role

• Collaborate with finance and accounting directors to ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries and transactions.
• Provide guidance and training to other accountants, serving as a primary resource for transaction recording and policy interpretation.
• Perform daily accounting tasks for assigned communities, stepping in for vacant accountant roles as needed.
• Prepare daily cash account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues, implementing processes and controls to prevent future occurrences.
• Assist with the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reports, including consolidations.
• Support budget, forecasting, and audit processes.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP.
