Onsite Electrical Installer Control Systems
Position Summary
We are seeking Onsite Electrical Installer to support the installation of industrial control panels and automation systems at customer and project locations.
This position primarily works with small-wire and low-voltage control systems, typically 50VDC and below, and does not necessarily require a licensed electrician. The ideal candidate has experience with control wiring, instrumentation, automation equipment, low-voltage systems, or similar electrical installation work.
Key Responsibilities
· Install industrial control panels and associated control-system equipment at project sites.
· Perform low-voltage and control wiring, primarily involving small wire and control voltage of 50VDC and below.
· Route, terminate, label, and organize control wiring.
· Install sensors, switches, instrumentation, control devices, communication devices, and related equipment.
· Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, and installation documents.
· Make field connections between control panels and equipment.
· Assist with panel startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
· Verify installations against drawings and project requirements.
· Identify field discrepancies and communicate issues to project leadership and engineering.
· Maintain accurate redlines and documentation when field conditions differ from drawings.
· Follow customer, project, and company safety requirements.
· Maintain clean and professional installations.
· Coordinate with electricians, controls engineers, project managers, and other trades as required.
Qualifications
· Previous experience with low-voltage electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, automation, telecommunications, or similar systems preferred.
· Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
· Experience terminating small-gauge wire preferred.
· Comfortable using electrical hand tools and basic test equipment.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
· Ability to work independently in field environments.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Willingness to travel to customer and project locations as required.

· Industrial automation systems.
· PLC-controlled equipment.
· Control panel installation.
· Instrumentation and sensors.
· 24VDC control systems.
· Industrial manufacturing or process environments.
