Quality Management System Auditor | Tucson, AZ, United States | On-site | $107,500 - $204,500 USD We are seeking a dynamic Quality Management System Auditor to join a leading national aerospace and defense company renowned for its engineering expertise and commitment to national security. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with rigorous quality standards and customer requirements, contributing to the development of advanced defense solutions. The Role • Oversee, conduct, and plan internal QMS audits for compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. • Perform all formal responsibilities of a Lead Auditor, including audit planning, team selection, and reporting. • Serve as a liaison with site stakeholders, facilitating opening/closing meetings and corrective action reviews. • Prepare sites for enterprise and certification body audits (e.g., NQA). • Facilitate the closure of corrective actions, including advanced root cause analysis. • Travel up to 25% to support various company locations. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience (8+ years, or 12+ years without a degree). • Minimum of six (6) years of QMS auditing experience within the Aerospace Industry. • Proven working experience auditing to AS9100 standards. • American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ/CQA) certification or equivalent. • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret level required).
