Business Analyst 3
 
Primary Location: Richmond, VA
 
 
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Business Analyst 3 for our premier client Richmond VA.
 
 
Education and Experience:
 
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Ex Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle databases experience (5 years).                           7             Years
  • Web application experience with Oracle APEX, Microsoft .NET.                     7             Years
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.                              7                Years
  • Ability to blend methodologies together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment                                7            
 
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
 
  • Knowledge of SDLC and multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities independently.
  • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle databases experience (5 years).
  • Web application experience with Oracle APEX, Microsoft .NET.
 
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Document current and future state processes, GAP analyses, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives.
  • Conduct project meetings, demos, trainings, and prepare detailed meeting notes.
  • Present requirements to technical and business teams for validation and discussion.
  • Participate in functional and systems integration testing; develop test plans, scenarios, and results.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and customer validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem‐solving, organizational, and communication skills.
