Role: Project Manager
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL - Hybrid

Top 3 Key Skills Needed:

• Project Management
• Reading/Interpreting Civil construction plans
• Financial Forecasting (Monthly Cash Flows) of projects

Candidate MUST Haves:

• Project Management experience (3+ years)
• Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience or Engineering experience directly working on Utility installation/relocation projects
• Experience reviewing contract proposals/bids
• Experience with preparing the project forecasting (e.g. Monthly Cash Flows)

Job Description:

A Project Manager Mid is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. They oversee all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

Responsibilities may include:

• Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.
• Monitoring project progress and identifying and addressing issues or risks.
• Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
• Leading project meetings and facilitating discussions to drive project progress.
• Managing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
• Supporting the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.
• Project Managers Mid should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• They should also be proficient in project management software and tools.
