The Role • Act in a lead capacity in the absence of store management, overseeing daily operations. • Provide exemplary customer service and assist customers in locating merchandise. • Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-maintained and displays are built. • Operate the cash register, process customer purchases, and handle cash and payments. • Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and a safe shopping environment. • Support store management in tasks such as ordering, plan-o-gram implementation, and cash control. What You'll Need • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately. • Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members. • Understanding of safety policies and practices to ensure a secure environment. • Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidelines. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with supervisory experience a plus.
