Quick Overview
Job Description
We’re looking for talented candidates based in South Florida, Nashville, Orlando, Tampa, or Atlanta who are excited to be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and connection.
Our offices in Boca Raton, FL and Nashville, TN are where we come together for collaboration, education, and celebrations, and we’re looking for teammates who can join us in person for those meaningful moments.
Reports to: VP, Innovation
Years Experience: 3-5 Years
Department: Strategy & Innovation
The Position:
You’re the person who keeps a growth / business development team moving. You’re a great researcher, an obsessive organizer and a natural project manager. You can dig into an organization and figure out who matters, keep a dozen opportunities from falling through the cracks, build a polished pitch deck, and make sure Salesforce actually reflects what’s happening in the real world.
BPD is looking for a Growth & Business Development Operations Specialist to help run the engine behind our growth efforts, from identifying and engaging high-value prospects to keeping pitches, proposals and RFPs moving toward the finish line.
You’ll manage BPD’s high-value target universe, researching organizations, mapping buying committees and relationships, and identifying meaningful reasons for BPD to engage.
You live inside Salesforce. You know the platform inside and out, get oddly excited about a clean CRM, and mark Dreamforce on your calendar every year. You’ll help execute account-based marketing and lead-generation programs, manage prospects through Salesforce and HubSpot, and make sure promising opportunities receive the right follow-up.
Once an opportunity becomes active, you’ll help quarterback the process, managing timelines and resources, coordinating contributors, supporting the build of decks and proposals, overseeing quality control and handling the operational details that keep the pursuit moving.
You’ll also help make the system behind all of this smarter, using Salesforce, HubSpot, AI, automation, intent and enrichment tools to improve how we identify, engage and manage opportunities.
The right person is equal parts researcher, marketer, project manager and operator.
The Responsibilities:
Includes, but not limited to the following:
- Own and continuously refine BPD’s high-value target account universe, including account prioritization, buying-committee mapping, relationship intelligence and research into the organizational and market signals that create meaningful opportunities to engage.
- Conduct account and prospect research to understand organizations, business challenges, decision-makers, influencers, existing relationships and relevant reasons for BPD to start a conversation.
- Develop and operationalize account-based marketing approaches across 1:1, 1 and 1 account tiers based on account value, opportunity, engagement and strategic importance.
- Partner with BPD executives, growth leaders, content teams and subject matter experts to support account-based engagement across priority channels, content, events and other opportunities, including audience targeting, account intelligence, follow-up and recommended next actions.
- Manage the lifecycle of inbound and outbound leads, including scoring, qualification, routing, nurturing and follow-up.
- Maintain visibility across the active opportunity pipeline, ensuring prospects and opportunities are current, next steps are clear and promising opportunities do not stall.
- Serve as the operational project manager for active pitches, proposals, RFP responses and other business development pursuits from kickoff through submission.
- Own pursuit timelines, workback schedules, deliverables and resource coordination across Strategy, Growth, Creative, Research, Analytics and other teams.
- Support the execution and build of pitch decks, proposals and RFP responses, helping organize, format, assemble and QA polished final deliverables.
- Coordinate pitch logistics, including scheduling, travel, presentation materials and submission requirements.
- Serve as a Salesforce power user, maintaining the data quality, lifecycle standards, campaign structure and CRM discipline required to effectively manage prospects and opportunities.
- Manage growth operations across HubSpot, BPD’s website, LinkedIn and other demand-generation channels, including segmentation, workflows, audience targeting, lead capture, tracking and reporting.
- Build and optimize lead scoring, qualification, routing and nurture workflows using AI, intent, enrichment and other emerging technologies.
- Maintain reliable connections across BPD’s marketing and sales technology stack, troubleshooting integrations and workflows with internal and external technical resources as needed.
- Track account engagement, lead quality, funnel progression, pipeline and conversion to identify what is creating meaningful business opportunities and where to optimize.
- Maintain rigorous QA across campaigns, automation, data, business development materials and other growth operations.
The Essentials:
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B demand generation, account-based marketing, growth/revenue marketing, marketing operations or a related role.
- Strong Salesforce experience with a strong understanding of accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, campaigns, reporting, automation and data hygiene.
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform and experience working across connected marketing and sales systems.
- Understanding of ABM methodologies, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, qualification, funnel management, attribution, pipeline reporting and marketing ROI.
- Experience with B2B growth channels and tools such as email, websites and landing pages, LinkedIn, prospect intelligence, intent and enrichment platforms.
- Exceptional research instincts, with the ability to quickly understand an organization, map decision-makers and influencers, and uncover meaningful openings for engagement.
- Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, deliverables and deadlines.
- An AI-native, systems-oriented mindset and experience using AI and automation to improve research, prospecting, analysis and workflow execution.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong written communication skills and rigorous attention to quality.
- Interest in healthcare and the business of healthcare; prior healthcare experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed.
What Success Looks Like:
- BPD knows which high-value accounts and buying committees matter most, why they matter and what action should happen next.
- Meaningful inbound and outbound leads receive timely, intelligent follow-up.
- Salesforce, HubSpot and the broader growth technology stack are clean, connected, reliable and increasingly automated.
- BPD executives and growth leads have useful account intelligence before engaging priority prospects.
- Active pitches, proposals and RFPs stay organized, appropriately resourced and on track from kickoff through submission.
