Marketing (Operations/Analysis) (Houston)

Aramco Americas Marketing provides crude oil support services in the North American market to Saudi Aramco, and arranges the scheduling, loading, transportation, and delivery of Saudi crude oil to refiners in the United States. Aramco Americas Marketing Operations also provides related activities requested by Saudi Aramco, Saudi Refining and Bolanter.
Summer Student Marketing (Operations) Opportunity
The summer student will gain real-life experience with encompassing understanding of Marketing's role within Aramco's corporate structure. Summer students are paired with a manager and mentor to provide technical guidance throughout the program.
Typical Activities include:
- Understanding Saudi Aramco Crude Oil Sales & Marketing Department "Saudi Aramco Headquarters" main functions.
- Understanding Aramco Americas Marketing Operations' main functions and responsibilities. Extensive Vendor and Customer communication.
- Analyzing Crude Quality & Quantity through Inspection and Loss Control reports.
- Reviewing and verifying freight invoices (Lightering & Inspection).
- Updating Aramco Americas Marketing Operations manual.
Summer Student Marketing (Analysis) Opportunity
The summer student will gain real-life experience with encompassing understanding of Marketing's role within Aramco's corporate structure. Summer students are paired with a manager and mentor to provide technical guidance throughout the program, in addition to attending lab training and development courses.
Typical Activities include:
- Understanding Saudi Aramco Crude Oil Sales & Marketing "Headquarters" main functions
- Understanding Marketing's Offices main functions, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- North American Marketing coordination functions
- Evaluating Saudi crude oil versus competitors' crude
- Analyzing crude oil market trends, differentials, and supply-demand fundamentals.
- Reviewing refinery economics, crude slate decisions, yields, and margin drivers.
- Summarizing EIA data on crude stocks, refinery runs, imports, and product demand.
