UI/UX Developer with Security Clearance

Position Description: MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join its team. In this role, the UI/UX Developer is responsible for the design and creation of user-facing interfaces and experiences.

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces. Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process. Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites or applications function and look. Work closely with software engineers and product managers to implement designs. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve design. Stay up to date with design application changes and industry developments.

Ensure all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings. Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design. Ensure applications adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Requirements

Must have and be able to maintain DoW Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field3+years’ experience in user-facing design and developmentExperience working with React.js, CSS, and Power Platform interfacesAbility to work independently and autonomouslyExcellent analytical and communication skillsExperience using UI wireframe/mockup tools such as Figma and BalsamiqKnowledge of design standards such as Google Material Design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
