Security Technician

The Role

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application and system issues, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize system availability and identify potential faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application settings.
• Document all system modifications accurately using a digital change control tracking system.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications before deployment.

What You'll Need

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarms, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
• Experience with Bosch or Silent Knight fire alarm systems is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
