We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Brize Norton. You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and installation across a range of environmental protection equipment, helping to keep our customers’ sites operating safely and effectively.

Working alongside our Operations teams, you’ll use your technical knowledge to identify and resolve issues, support site surveys and deliver practical solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

More about the role:

• Carry out site audits to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards, client requirements and safe working practices.
• Promote a strong safety culture and deliver a professional service at all times.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site.
• Support the installation, decommissioning and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.
• Ensure day to day work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare scopes of work, risk assessments and method statements.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment for which you are suitably qualified.
• Carry out site surveys and assist with the preparation of estimates and client proposals.
• Complete all required job documentation accurately and submit paperwork within agreed timescales.

About you:

• Basic knowledge of single and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.
• A good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Knowledge of separator and interceptor systems, with an understanding of relevant industry standards and best practice being advantageous.
• Knowledge of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Experience preparing, issuing and completing RAMS documentation.
• A flexible approach to working hours and travel, with the ability to respond to emergency works when required.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email, with the ability to prepare clear reports.
• A full UK driving licence and the Right to Work in the UK.
• A willingness to undertake additional training and continue developing your technical skills.

Desirable to Hold:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671.
• A Level 2 or 3 electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ or equivalent.
